Rage Against The Machine To Reportedly Reunite In 2020
Overnight, a list of 2020 tour dates appeared on a purported Rage Against The Machine Instagram account. While Rage Against The Machine haven’t formally announced a reunion on their website or Facebook page as of press time, the dates are confirmed as per reports from Forbes and Consequence of Sound.
Forbes’ contributor Steve Baltin spoke with Rage Against The Machine associate Wayne Kamemoto. “The band’s social media is accurate,” Kamemoto told Baltin. Meanwhile, “industry sources” confirmed to Consequence of Sound that the dates in the post are correct. CoS’ sources also indicated Rage will perform additional shows after the initial run.
The dates listed in the Instagram post are for concerts in El Paso on March 26, Las Cruces on March 28 and Phoenix on March 30. Rage will also headline both weekends of Coachella 2020 according to the Instagram post, which can be viewed below:
Rage Against The Machine features frontman Zack de la Rocha, guitarist Tom Morello, drummer Brad Wilk and bassist Tim Commerford. The quartet last shared the stage in 2011. Morello, Wilk and Commerford formed Prophets Of Rage with Chuck D. and B-Real in 2016.
