Radiohead Sends ‘Burn The Witch’ Leaflets To UK Fans

Some Radiohead fans in the U.K. received leaflets in the mail this morning which may be hinting at the upcoming release of the band’s long-in-the-works ninth studio album. As per images posted on social media, the mailers read “Sing the song of sixpence, burn the witch” and “we know where you live” and also feature an embossed stamp of the Radiohead logo.

As per Rolling Stone, “‘Burn the Witch’ refers to an Radiohead unreleased song that is at least 13 years old” though a full version of the tune has never been played live. Here’s a look at the mailer:

Pitchfork first reported on the mailers and has reached out to the band’s management for comment, but have yet to receive a response as of press time. Check out a few teases of Radiohead’s “Burn The Witch” played in 2006 and 2008:

Radiohead will soon embark on a World Tour that will feature a mix of festival appearances and headlining dates starting in Amsterdam on May 20.
