Earlier this week we reported on the surfacing of long-suppressed video footage of Prince covering Radiohead’s “Creep” at Coachella in 2008. The video joins many other stellar renditions of Radiohead songs performed by their musical peers that have been captured over the years and below we’ve rounded up several choice covers performed live by jam scene favorites and other iconic rock acts.

First we’ll take another look at The Purple One taking on “Creep.” As mentioned before, Prince’s intense work on guitar makes this a particularly moving rendition of the popular Pablo Honey track.

Guitarist Warren Haynes has worked several Radiohead originals into the various lineups he’s played with over the years. Check Gov’t Mule’s take on “Creep” followed by “Lucky” performed by Warren solo, as well as “Karma Police” with the Ashes & Dust Band featuring ChessBoxer and Jeff Sipe. Finally, watch Warren lead the Seaside Allstars through “Karma Police” and “Paranoid Android” at this year’s Gathering of the Vibes.

moe. has also regularly played “Karma Police” over the years. In the video below the band is playing in the round on a rotating stage at the Cape Cod Melody Tent back in July 2008.

Umphrey’s McGee has also incorporated a few Radiohead tunes into their cover song repertoire. Besides a one-time performance of “All I Need” they’ve played the instrumental “Meeting In the Aisle” a number of times – same goes for “The National Anthem” and “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi” which you can catch below:

Back when keyboardist Marco Benevento and drummer Joe Russo were performing as a duo a few Radiohead tunes made their way into the pair’s setlists. Watch them play “Myxomatosis” from the Hail To The Thief album.

The String Cheese Incident gave “The National Anthem” a spin back in 2011, check out their interpretation:

In the next clip Rivers Cuomo and Weezer lead a group of fan musicians at their Portland Hootenanny in 2008 through a rousing group rendering of “Creep.”

“Street Spirit (Fade Out)” from Radiohead’s 1995 album The Bends was covered by Peter Gabriel for his Scratch My Back album. Below is a clip of him singing a stark arrangement while backed by an orchestra at O2 World Hambur in October 2010
