The Raconteurs & Black Pumas Perform On ‘Austin City Limits’

The Raconteurs and Black Pumas peformed on the latest episode of Austin City Limits. The show marked the first The Racounteurs appearance on ACL in over a decade and was the debut for local duo Black Pumas who were performing for the first time in front of the cameras at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.

The Raconteurs performed songs from their latest album, 2019’s Help Us Stranger, including “Now That You’re Gone,” “Sunday Driver,” “Help Me Stranger” and “Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness).” The band led by Jack White and Brendan Benson also played “Top Yourself” from 2008’s Consolers Of The Lonely and “Steady As She Goes” from their 2006 debut Broken Boy Soldiers.

Austin-based Black Pumas, led by Eric Burton and Adrian Quesada and currently nominated for the Grammy for Best New Artist, performed a batch of songs from their 2019 self-titled debut. Their set consisted of “Know You Better,” “Black Moon Rising,” “OCT 33” and “Colors.” Watch both performances below:
