Punch Brothers & Watchhouse Announce US Summer Tour 2022
Seattle and Vermont shows are on sale now while most tickets go on sale Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. local venue time.
Punch Brothers confirmed 2022 tour dates in the U.S this summer. The second iteration of the band’s American Acoustic format will see Punch Brothers teaming up with Watchhouse for the entire run as well as Sarah Jarosz on select dates.
American Acoustic grew out of a festival curated by Punch Brothers mandolinist and frontman Chris Thile at Washington D.C.’s Kennedy Center in 2016. The inaugural traveling edition hit the road in 2017 and the 2022 run marks the first American Acoustic since then and will feature a collaborative acoustic format captured by two condenser microphones.
The tour gets underway on July 27 in Bonner Springs, Montana followed by a stop in Salt Lake City on July 28. Punch Brothers then bring American Acoustic to the Pacific Northwest with plays in Portland (July 31), Seattle (August 1) and Jacksonville, Oregon (August 3).
The tour then heads to California beginning in Saratoga on August 5 followed by engagements in Rohnert Park (August 6) and Los Angeles (August 7). Next, American Acoustic hops over to the Northeast with a concert in New Haven, Connecticut on August 18 before wrapping up in Manchester Vermont on August 20.
Tickets for Seattle and Vermont are on sale now. All other tickets go on sale on Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. local venue time except L.A. (April 19 at 10 a.m. PT) and Rohnert Park (April 28 at 10 a.m. PT). Ticket on-sale times and venue details for the Salt Lake And Jacksonville shows are forthcoming. Find ticketing links below:
