Pro-Shot | Widespread Panic Covers Zeppelin & Neil Young

Jam titans Widespread Panic continued a long-standing tradition of debuting covers on Halloween at 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado on October 31. This year, the band debuted five new covers and busted out four other songs.

Two of our favorites from Halloween ’14 were the group’s covers of Led Zeppelin’s “D’yer Mak’er” and Neil Young’s “Heart Of Gold.” We especially dig the way Panic added their signature sound, complete with frenetic Jimmy Herring guitar solo, to Neil Young’s classic. Widespread Panic has just unleashed pro-shot video of both covers on YouTube. Check ’em out:
