Pro-Shot Videos: Gov’t Mule Debuts Led Zeppelin Covers With Ann Wilson At Lockn’

By Scott Bernstein Aug 30, 2017 10:02 am PDT

As reported Heart’s Ann Wilson was Gov’t Mule‘s special guest this past Friday night at the Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, Virginia. Wilson sat-in with Mule on five songs including a pair of Led Zeppelin covers. Lockn’ has unveiled official footage of the Zeppelin tunes.

Ann Wilson emerged towards the end of Gov’t Mule’s Friday night set. First up was a take on “Immigrant Song” off Led Zeppelin III. While the quartet had teased “Immigrant Song” in the past, Lockn’ marked the first full-on version from the Mule. The same is true of the song that followed, “Black Dog.” Wilson belted out each cover, both of which have been staples of Heart’s live sets at various points in the band’s history.

Watch “Immigrant Song” from Friday night:

Here’s “Black Dog” from later in the set:
