Pro-Shot Video: Widespread Panic Welcomes Jerry Joseph For ‘Cortez The Killer’

On July 3, Widespread Panic brought their Summer Tour to Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon for a show featuring an opening set from Jerry Joseph & The Jackmormons. During the Georgia rockers’ second set, they welcomed Joseph for a pair of tunes including a long-lost Neil Young cover.
The first song Jerry sat-in on with Widespread Panic was a cover of Neil Young’s “Cortez The Killer.” Panic hadn’t played “Cortez” since October 17, 2009 – a span of 462 shows. Yesterday, the band shared pro-shot footage of the jammed-out Neil Young cover. Take a look:
