Widespread Panic held a three-night stand in October at The Riverside Theater in Milwaukee. The middle night performance on October 22 featured a rendition of their longtime original “Pigeons” to open the two set show.
The nearly 10-minute “Pigeons” kicked off a first set that also featured a pairing of The Band favorites “Ophelia” and “The Shape I’m In” among other selections. The show ended with a notable cover of Black Sabbath’s “Sweet Leaf,” one of several of the legendary hard rock band’s songs played by WSP in the lead up to their Halloween concert.
