On October 26 Georgia rockers Widespread Panic did something they had only done twice previously in the past 27 years, when they played old school instrumentals “A Of D” and “B Of D” in sequence. The pairing kicked off the band’s show at Stephens Auditorium in Ames, Iowa. Panic recently shared pro-shot video of the “Of D” one-two punch.

Widespread Panic debuted “A Of D” in early 1989 and it has remained in the band’s rotation, except for brief spurts, ever since. “B Of D” was unveiled two weeks after the debut of “A Of D” and also has been a staple of WSP live shows over the past 27 years. The only other times “B Of D” followed “A Of D” were on April 8, 1989 and November 9, 2007. Watch the double dose instrumental opening to Widespread Panic’s visit to Ames on October 26:
