Ever since Umphrey’s McGee debuted “Speak Up” on New Year’s Eve 2015, the song has been a staple of the band’s live sets. Friday’s version was the 46th in UM history and had a bit of “extra mustard” in the form of a fantastic jam. Today, the sextet unveiled pro-shot video of Saturday’s “Speak Up” from The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York.

Guitarist Brendan Bayliss handles lead vocals on “Speak Up,” while Jake Cinninger kicked off the jam with a fierce solo. Umphrey’s didn’t stray too far from the typical “Speak Up” structure, yet worked over the groove with aplomb. LD Jefferson Waful’s painting of the walls at the historic venue is on display throughout as is the talents of bassist Ryan Stasik, who was sporting a “rob.” shirt in honor of moe.’s Rob Derhak. “Speak Up” came towards the end of the second set on Saturday just ahead of the “Glory” that closed the frame.
