Pro-Shot Video: Umphrey’s McGee Participates In ‘Backstory’ Session In New York City

Umphrey’s McGee participated in a Backstory session Thursday evening at The Cutting Room in New York City. The event saw the band that’s celebrating their 20th anniversary this weekend performing songs from their new studio album it’s not us and taking questions about the record and more.

UM’s Backstory session began with a Q&A segment with the six members of the band hosted by journalist/author Alan Paul. The band and Paul discussed several aspects of recording it’s not us and some audience members were able to ask questions as well. Umphrey’s then took over The Cutting Room stage to for a performance of the it’s not us tracks “Half Delayed,” “Looks,” “Whistle Kids” and a jammed out “Remind Me.”
