Arizona-based jam quartet Spafford made their debut at The Peach Music Festival in Scranton, Pennsylvania on July 21. The band shared professionally-shot video captured by MKDevo of a 20+ minute, improv-heavy section of their set.

Spafford and the gathering of Spaffnerds that witnessed their Saturday night performance had to endure heavy rainfall. One of the highlights of the set was a sequence of “Electric Taco Stand” > “Dis Go In 5” > “Electric Taco Stand.” Both originals have been staples of the foursome’s live performances for a long time.

Guitarist Brian Moss, bassist Jordan Fairless, keyboardist Andrew “Red” Johnson and drummer Cameron Laforest focused on funk and electro-tinged improv during the “Electric Taco Stand” jam before expertly dropping into the instrumental “Dis Go In 5.” Spafford then went rock-heavy to bridge “Dis Go In 5” and the conclusion of “Electric Taco Stand,” which included a strong peak led by Moss.
