Pro-Shot Video: Khruangbin Full Performance On KEXP

Texas-based trio Khruangbin recently stopped by the studios of Seattle radio station KEXP. Footage of Khruangbin’s April 26 set has been shared on KEXP’s YouTube channel.

Drummer Donald “DJ” Johnson, guitarist Mark Speer and bassist Laura Lee not only performed four songs of the recently released Con Todo El Mundo, but also chat with host Cheryl Waters. Speer shares the band’s origin story which included weekly meetings over burgers.

Khruangbin starts the session with “Maria También” and goes on to play Con Todo El Mundo tracks “Lady & Man,” “August 10” and “Evan Finds The Third Room.” Watch the psychedelic fusion trio’s KEXP set, which took place ahead of their performance at Seattle’s Neumos:
