On October 26 Phish drummer Jon Fishman led a performance dubbed “A Musical Celebration For Katie Mae Featuring Jon Fishman And Friends” at Zodiacs in Petaluma, California on one of few off days in the middle of Phish Fall Tour. After all these months, professionally-shot footage of the first set from Zodiacs has emerged.

In the video below, which features soundboard audio, we see Fishman team with bassist Bobby Vega, guitarists Stu Allen and Chris Rossbach, keyboardist Danny Eisenberg and vocalist Leslie Mendelson for funky takes on such songs as Sly’s “Sing A Simple Song,” The Rolling Stones’ “Start Me Up,” “Cissy Strut” by The Meters, the Grateful Dead’s “Scarlet Begonias” > “Fire On The Mountain” and even “Cities” by Talking Heads.
