Pro-Shot Video: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Plays ‘Viola Lee Blues’ At Lockn’

Grateful Dead tribute ensemble Joe Russo’s Almost Dead made a couple of appearances at this year’s Lockn’ Festival. Today as part of their RAD Tracks Thursday series, the group has shared official video footage of a highlight from the event held last month in Arrington, Virginia.
JRAD posted pro-shot multi-cam video of their interpretation of the Grateful Dead’s arrangement of the often covered “Viola Lee Blues.” The 11-minute performance of the Noah Lewis composition was rendered during the band’s opening night performance on August 25, watch here:
