Pro-Shot Video: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Performs ‘Viola Lee Blues’ Aboard Jam Cruise 14

Jam Cruise organizers continue to unveil professionally-shot video from this past January’s trip and the latest clip shared is Joe Russo’s Almost Dead‘s “Viola Lee Blues” played January 6 on the Pool Deck. The Grateful Dead tribute act worked a full-on “China Cat Sunflower” jam within “Viola Lee.”

Jam Cruise 15 will set sail aboard the Norwegian Pearl from Miami on January 20 and will host a bevy of musical performances across its stages and spaces before returning to Miami on January 25. Joe Russo and Marco Benevento will be on hand for the first electric Benevento Russo Duo gig in nearly a decade. The Original Meters, moe., GRiZ, Galactic, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and Lettuce are just a handful of the other acts set to play the 2017 installment of Jam Cruise. Cabins are officially sold out.
