Grateful Dead tribute act Joe Russo’s Almost Dead sure made their first festival set count over the summer at Gathering Of The Vibes on a bright Friday afternoon in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Today, the band has shared professionally-shot video featuring a chunk of their Vibes set as part of the Rad Tracks Thursday series.

The 26-minute sequence starts off with a spot-on rendition of “Reuben & Cerise” and continues to flow with an “Eyes Of The World” that’s equal parts beauty and intensity. Speaking of intense, JRAD brings the bombast to a reprise of “Supplication” before finishing off the “Uncle John’s Band” they started earlier in the set at a pace unheard of for a Dead tribute act.
