Pro-Shot Video: Jim James Performs ‘Give Peace A Chance’ With Brandi Carlile & Joe Russo At Lockn’

Among the performers at the 2017 Lockn’ festival was Jim James of My Morning Jacket. James’ set featured a mix of MMJ favorites, selections from his solo material, a few covers and special guests. Footage of a Brandi Carlile and Joe Russo sitting-on on a rendition of “Give Peace A Chance” has been shared by the festival.

James’ solo Lockn’ performance saw Carlile also add vocals to a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Blowin’ In The Wind” and the My Morning Jacket classic “Wonderful (The Way I Feel).” Russo was also onstage playing a large drum for the offering of the Plastic Ono Band’s anthem “Give Peace A Chance.”
