On Saturday night, the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. hosted a concert in celebration of NPR Music’s 10th anniversary. Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy played a career-spanning solo acoustic set as part of the festivities. NPR has shared professionally-shot video of Tweedy’s six-song performance.
Jeff Tweedy opened with a new song titled “Bombs Above.” He then pulled from his Uncle Tupelo output with “We’ve Been Had.” The set continued with Schmilco single “Locator,” a song he wrote for Mavis Staples’ 2013 LP One True Vine (“Jesus Wept”) and the beloved Wilco classic “Passenger Side.” Jeff brought the performance to a close with another Wilco staple, “I’m The Man Who Loves You.”
