Pro-Shot Video: Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit Perform Live On The Current

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit were in Minneapolis recently to headline the 2018 Basilica Block Party. While in the Twin Cities, Isbell and two of his band mates stopped by Minnesota Public Radio station The Current to perform a live session prior to their festival set.

Isbell played guitar while accompanied by his wife, fiddler Amanda Shires and guitarist Sadler Vaden. The trio played “White Man’s World,” “If We Were Vampires” and “Last Of My Kind” from their 2017 album The Nashville Sound. Isbell and the augmented 400 Unit also fit in a performance of “24 Frames” from the 2015 LP Something More Than Free during their set in the Forum at MPR. Watch the four-song session below:
