Pro-Shot Video: Holly Bowling Performs ‘Dark Star’ In Maine

Holly Bowling performed a concert on October 22, 2017 at Port City Music Hall in Portland, Maine. The pianist posted official video footage of her arrangement of the Grateful Dead’s “Dark Star” that she performed that evening.

Bowling’s first foray into arranging Grateful Dead songs for solo piano was her contribution of “Eyes Of The World” to the JamBase Songs Of Their Own video series in 2015. Bowling also contributed last year to the collaborative “Terrapin Station Medley” that was part of JamBase’s 40th-anniversary celebration of the release of Terrapin Station.
