On March 23 and 24, Ghost Light brought their debut tour to Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California. The band started the second set on the 24th with an acoustic segment and recently shared professionally-shot video of the stripped-down section of the show.
Ghost Light features guitarists Tom Hamilton and Raina Mullen, keyboardist Holly Bowling, bassist Steve Lyons and drummer Scotty Zwang. The quintet opened the second set of the second night of their recent Terrapin Crossroads run with a beautiful, as-of-yet untitled original that saw Mullen almost chanting. Next, the group pulled from Hamilton’s Brothers Past days for a gorgeous rendition of “Boy.”
Last month, Hamilton, Mullen and Bowling paired up to open a tribute to Led Zeppelin at Carnegie Hall with an interpretation of “No Quarter.” The set continued with a full-band version of “No Quarter” which like the rest of the segment featured Tommy and Raina on acoustics and Scotty playing a basic drum setup. Ghost Light closed out the acoustic portion of their final set at Terrapin with a new original titled “Isosceles.”
