Pro-Shot Video: David Gilmour Performs ‘One Of These Days’ Live At Pompeii

Next week, Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour will unveil the concert film David Gilmour: Live At Pompeii at more than 2,000 cinemas around the world (participating theaters are listed here) on September 13 ahead of its release on DVD/Blu-Ray on September 29. Gilmour and his band recorded the set during a two-night stand at the same ancient Roman theater, where Pink Floyd filmed Live At Pompeii in 1971. Today, Gilmour has shared video of “One Of These Days,” a song featured in the original Live At Pompeii, from the new film.

The 148-minute concert film was directed and shot in 4K by Gavin Elder. David Gilmour: Live At Pompeii’s DVD/Blu-Ray package will include a seven-minute companion documentary by Elder entitled Pompeii Then And Now. Those purchasing the Deluxe Blu-Ray box set will also get to watch an additional 207 minutes of bonus footage culled from 11 live performances and five documentaries.
