Pro-Shot: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead At Brooklyn Bowl

From March 24 – 26, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead returned to the site of the band’s first show, NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl, for a three-night stand at the Williamsburg venue. Today, the band’s Rad Tracks series of releases continues with the unveiling of professionally-shot footage of JRAD’s “Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo” from the first night of the run.

Audio of the track can be downloaded here. “Mississippi Half-Step” closed out the second set of JRAD’s March 24th performance at Brooklyn Bowl, the only night of the run that didn’t feature any guests. On the 25th, the band was joined by a horn section, while electric violinist Katie Jacoby sat-in at the finale.

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead returns to the stage later this month for a pair of performances at The Joy Theater in New Orleans during Jazz Fest.
