Pro-Shot Full Set Video: Michael Kiwanuka At Haldern Pop Festival 2016

British singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka was among the performers on the lineup of this year’s Haldern Pop Festival. Officially captured video footage of his set at the event in Rees-Haldern, Germany has been made available to view.

Backed by bassist Alex Bonfanti, percussionist Graham Godfrey, guitarist Michael Jablonka, keyboardist Steve Pringle and drummer Lewis Wright, the five-song set focused on material from Kiwanuka’s recently issued sophomore LP Love & Hate. The set begins with the record’s lengthy opening track “Cold Little Heart” and continues with “One More Night.” His politically tinged “Black Man In A White World” (which takes it title from a Jackie Robinson quote about not standing for the National Anthem), “Rule The World” and the new album’s title track round out the set.
