Prince To Play Eight Minute Saturday Night Live Jam Session

Earlier this month we reported that Prince would return to Saturday Night Live on November 1 for an episode that would be hosted by longtime SNL cast member Chris Rock. Today, the show has announced more exciting news about The Purple One’s first SNL visit since 2006. 
Usually, an act plays a pair of songs over the course of the 90-minute episode, but not Prince. Prince’s return to show with feature an unprecedented eight-minute jam session with no commercial interruptions. The Purple One will be backed by his 3rdEyeGirl all-female band and we can’t wait to see what they have in store.
