Previously Unreleased Video | Grateful Dead Sugaree 1989

This Monday movie theaters across the country will host this year’s installment of Grateful Dead Meet Up At The Movies. Today we have our first full song taste of the previously unreleased show that will be broadcast at Meet Up At The Movies on Monday night.

Deadheads attending Monday’s screening will be treated to footage of the Grateful Dead’s July 19, 1989 performance at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin. After opening with Bob Weir’s “Hell In A Bucket” Jerry Garcia stepped up to deliver a blistering (both vocally and musically) “Sugaree.” Rolling Stone has premiered video of the “Sugaree” from Alpine ’89.
