Photographer/musician Danny Clinch hosted the Big Ta-Doo concert event at The McKittrick Hotel in New York City last Saturday to coincide with the Grammys. The show featured performances by Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Tangiers Blues Band with each act welcoming a number of special guests. Guitarist Bob Weir joined the Tangiers Blues Band on “Got My Mojo Workin’” and “Little Red Rooster.” Bobby and harmonica wiz Mickey Raphael sat-in with PHJB on such favorites as “Iko Iko” and “Big Chief.” The evening also saw special guests including Zac Brown, Brandi Carlile, Nicole Atkins, Joseph Arthur, Tash Neal of the London Souls and Binky Griptite of The Dap-Kings.
