Post Malone made his debut appearance on SiriusXM’s Howard Stern Show on Monday. The rapper, vocalist, producer and songwriter treated listeners to a cover of the Pearl Jam classic “Better Man” during his time on the Stern Show.

Malone spoke to Howard Stern from SiriusXM’s Los Angeles studios. The superstar’s visit came on the same day he announced his Twelve Carat Tour of North America. The trek takes its name from Posty’s recently released Twelve Carat Toothache LP.

Post Malone discussed his new album extensively with Howard. He also talked about his start in the music industry, songwriting, his signature face tattoos and much more.

The “Better Man” cover came in honor of Post Malone’s brother, a U.S. Marine. “He’s just a beautiful man and he introduced me to Pearl Jam in a big fucking way,” Malone explained. The 26-year-old musician sang “Better Man” accompanied by Andrew Watt on guitar. Watt produced and contributed to “Better Man” songwriter Eddie Vedder’s latest solo album, Earthling.
