Get Down At The Get Down: Polyrhythmics Announce 2025 New Year’s Run In Portland

Seattle psych-funk outfit Polyrhythmics are set to ring in the New Year in Portland, Oregon. The band will perform two nights at The Get Down, December 30 and 31.

Polyrhythmics’ New Year’s run will follow their Life From Below Tour in support of their upcoming album of the same name, which arrives on September 12. The extensive North American fall trek will see the band in the Southeast, Midwest, Northeast and the band’s native Pacific Northwest ahead of their New Year’s shows in Portland.

To celebrate the announcement of the NYE 2025 shows, Polyrhythmics released Live From the Get Down, “one of their favorite venues to ring in the new year,” as per a press release. “The album captures the energy, interplay, and deep-pocket grooves that make the band’s performances at The Get Down a fan favorite.”

The press materials also noted that “special guest performers will be announced in the coming weeks” for the Portland NYE concerts.

A fan presale for tickets to Polyrhythmics NYE 2025 run begins Tuesday, August 12 at 10 a.m. PT. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 15 at 10 a.m. PT.
