Polyrhythmics Perform For KEXP: Pro-Shot Video
Seattle’s own Polyrhythmics visited the studios of hometown independent radio station KEXP for a set in February. KEXP uploaded professionally-shot video of the full session to YouTube.
The band’s latest performance at KEXP included four songs from their recently released Man From The Future studio album. Polyrhythmics opened with “Digital Cowboy” and then spoke with host Kevin Cole about their 10th anniversary and the new LP. The group tore through “The Cutdown” and “Yeti, Set, Go” next.
Cole and Polyrhythmics discussed a full year the band had planned for 2020, much of which unfortunately has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the finale, the Seattle afrobeat ensemble played “Chelada. Watch Polyrhythmics’ February set for KEXP below:
