Polyrhythmics Preview New Album With Old School Funk-Inspired ‘Chophouse’ Single

Polyrhythmics shared a new single, “Chophouse.” The track is set to land on the band’s forthcoming seventh studio album set for a 2025 release.
Polyrhythmics’ — Ben Bloom (guitar), Grant Schroff (drums), Nathan Spicer (keys), Jason Gray (bass), Scott Morning (trumpet), Elijah Clark (trombone) and Art Brown (sax/flute) — yet-to-be-named new album follows the band’s 2023 record Filter System.

The band’s new single, “Chophouse,” was written by Grant Schroff and “has an upbeat retro feel inspired by the old school funk and soul stylings of The JB’s, and Bobby Byrd,” as per press materials for the track.
