Seattle-based Afrobeat collective Polyrhythmics are gearing up for the release of Caldera on September 22. Today, the band has announced a 19-date trek in support of the studio album.
Polyrhythmics previously announced a Northeast run scheduled for the end of September. A visit to World Cafe Live in Philadelphia on September 20 will be followed by stops in Brooklyn, Boston, Burlington, Teaneck and a just-added gig at Arch Street Tavern in Hartford on September 29.
The West Coast portion of the tour begins at Berryessa Brewing Company in Winters, California on October 27 ahead of an appearance at this year’s Hangtown Music Festival on October 29 and a Halloween show at Last Exit Live in Phoenix. Polyrhythmics play Denver’s Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom on November 3 and then head to Schmiggity’s in Steamboat Springs on November 4. A run in the Pacific Northwest includes stops in Idaho and Oregon along with two hometown shows at Tractor Tavern in Seattle on November 24 and 25.
Polyrhythmics kick off December at Bit & Spur in Springdale, Utah on the 1st. Next up is a series of concerts in California including stops in San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Cruz and Grass Valley. The band brings the tour to Crystal Bay Casino in Crystal Bay, Nevada on December 8 ahead of a tour-closer at Slim’s in San Francisco on December 9.
