Pixies Cancel September Tour Due To COVID-19
The run was supposed to include 11 performances.

Pixies scrapped a U.S. tour planned for September 2021. “We have determined that with the current surge in COVID cases – made worse by the Delta variant – that this is the right decision for our fans and crew members’ safety, as well as our own,” explained the band in a post on their website.
The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York was supposed to host the tour opener on September 10. Other dates canceled include stops planned for Pittsburgh, Louisville, Fort Wayne (Indiana), Milwaukee, Chesterfield (Missouri), Omaha, Chicago, Cleveland and Tulsa. Pixies were scheduled to be on the road through September 26.
