Pink Talking Fish Confirms December 2023 Tour Dates Including Shows With Giant Country Horns

Pink Talking Fish laid out December 2023 tour dates including select shows with Phish collaborators the Giant Country Horns in a pair of historic Phish locations. The rest of the December concerts will see the Pink Floyd/Talking Heads/Phish tribute act in the Northeast, Midwest and Colorado.

Following a busy early fall touring schedule, Pink Talking Fish will welcome Giant Country Horns’ alto saxophonist Dave Grippo, tenor saxophonist Russell Remington and trumpeter Carl Gerhard for a show in the city where Phish formed and where Dave Grippo calls home — Burlington, Vermont — on December 1. The ensemble will play at a venue with Phish connections, South Burlington’s Higher Ground.

On December 2, PTF and GCH will then head to The Colonial Theatre in Keene, New Hampshire where a famed Phish show took place with the Giant Country Horns on their storied 1991 tour which became Live Phish Vol. 19 released in 2003. Pink Talking Fish will then go it alone for shows in Portland, Maine on December 9 and Buffalo, New York on December 13.

December 14 will see PTF in Columbus, Ohio ahead of a concert in Covington, Kentucky the following evening. Next, the band wraps the Midwest run in Chicago on December 16. Pink Talking Fish will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a two-night stand at Denver’s So Many Roads Museum & Brewery December 30 and 31.

Most additional December dates go on sale Friday, September 1 at 10 a.m. local time.
