Talking Heads/Phish/Pink Floyd tribute act Pink Talking Fish has announced Summer Tour 2017. PTF will mix festival appearances, beach parties and concerts surrounding other events.
Up first is a series of concept shows dubbed “Pink Talking Fish: Pink Floyd Box Set Experience” in Denver set to coincide with Roger Waters’ nearby two-night stand. Pink Talking Fish will play pre and post concerts with each expected to feature every cut from a classic Pink Floyd album (Animals, Dark Side Of The Moon, Meddle & Wish You Were Here) intertwined with Phish and Talking Heads songs. The band then will perform at this year’s Disc Jam Music Festival in Stephentown, New York ahead of a performance at Paddy’s Beach Club in Westerly, Rhode Island on June 30.
Pink Talking Fish returns to Chicago on July 1 and makes an appearance at Highberry on July 2 before a pair of shows at The Beachcomer in Wellfleet, Massachusetts on July 3 and 4. From there, the band will also play July concerts in Vermont, Pittsburgh, New Hampshire and New York. August finds PTF performing a number of shows surrounding Phish’s “Baker’s Dozen” residency in New York City. The group will also appear at this year’s Peach Music Festival in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
