Phish/Talking Heads/Pink Floyd tribute band Pink Talking Fish has detailed a pair of special themed shows for later this month. PTF will present two different concepts on November 18 and 19.
On November 18 Pink Talking Fish will mark the anniversary of Phish’s first performance in the Philadelphia area at the venue where the show took place in 1989. While at the time the venue was known as 23 East Lancaster, it’s now The Ardmore Music Hall. To celebrate, PTF will perform a set of their classic combinations followed by a second set solely dedicated to the music of Phish. This “Back To The Phuture” performance will be the first time the group has played a “Phish only” set.
Then, on November 19, Pink Talking Fish will perform at Putnam Den in Saratoga Springs, New York. The band will treat the audience to a “Dark Side Of Gamehendge” performance, which combines the Pink Floyd album Dark Side Of The Moon with the Phish rock opera Gamehendge while intertwining Talking Heads songs throughout.
