[UPDATED] Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Announces Live Stream With Goose Replays
Mar 14, 2020 • 5:10 pm PDT
Goose are having technical difficulties with their live streaming capabilities. As such an old Goose set will be webcast before PPPP performs live, after which another old Goose set will be streamed. Goose expects to stream from their living room on Sunday. See more below.
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong announced a remote live stream tonight (Saturday, March 14) for nugs.tv as part of 11Eleven Group’s new Live From Out There series that will follow and proceed screenings of past Goose sets. Pigeons will perform live starting at 9 p.m. ET.
The Live From Out There project seeks to provide the healing power of live music in the midst of numerous concert cancelations and postponements due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. Pigeons and Goose were previously on tour together but had to postpone their remaining tour dates. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Sweet Relief COVID-19 Fund.
Here’s a statement from Goose’s Peter Anspach:
hey guys, peter here. We are experiencing major technical difficulties right now and won’t be able to stream from our living room until tomorrow night. Instead we’ll be streaming our opening set for the Disco Biscuits in Pittsburgh on 11/14/19 followed by Pigeons, and then after that we’ll be showing our 8/17/19 set from Birds of a Feather Music Festival. We are so sorry for this crappy news, I’m pretty much shaking right now from the stress of the last few hours, but the good news is we can definitely make the stream happen tomorrow night and we can honor all of the stream purchases. Thank you for understanding ❤️
The Pigeons part of the live stream is expected to continue as of press time. Read a note from the band:
