Pigeons Playing Ping Pong ended a four-show Halloween run at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta on November 3 with a “Dead Hot Sergeant Peppers” performance. The band shared pro-shot video of the entire concert, which can be viewed below.
For the first three shows of the run, PPPP mixed originals with Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Beatles covers. Then, for the finale, they added Grateful Dead covers to the mix for a special “Dead Hot Sergeant Peppers” concert. “I Am The Walrus,” “Drive My Car” and “The End” were among the Beatles songs played, while the Chili Peppers were represented by “Give It Away,” “By The Way” and more. The performance also included takes on the Grateful Dead’s “Eyes Of The World,” “Shakedown Street,” “Slipknot!” and others.
