Baltimore electro-funk band Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have announced their first tour of 2018. The quartet also detailed the 2018 installment of their Domefest gathering.
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong kick off the tour at State Theatre in State College on February 7. From there, PPPP bring the run to Rochester, Stroudsburg, Asbury Park, Bloomington and Grand Rapids over the course of February. Up first in March is a visit to Milwaukee followed by stops in Minneapolis, Omaha, Jackson, Salt Lake City, Durango and Denver. A final portion of the tour includes visits to Lawrence, St. Louis and Detroit.
The 2018 installment of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s music festival, Domefest, is set to take place May 17 – 19 at Fort Royale Farm in Bedford, Pennsylvania for the third consecutive year. Domefest 2018 is the ninth installment of the event. “We found our home in Bedford,” said festival organizer and Pigeons’ guitarist Jeremy Schon. “We love the site, we love the crowd, and we can’t wait to see everyone back on the farm for another wild three nights in the woods.”
Tickets for newly-announced dates go on sale Friday, December 1 at 10 a.m. local.
