As reported Widespread Panic ended Fall Tour 2016 and a three-night stand at 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado on Sunday night. The band all dressed for the Halloween Eve occasion as John Bell was a ghost from Disney’s Chilling, Thrilling Sounds Of The Haunted House, Dave Schools was Ozzy Osbourne, Jimmy Herring was Earth Man, Duane Trucks was Hulk Hogan, JoJo Hermann was Gilligan and Sunny Ortiz was The Devil.
Widespread Panic went with a “Heaven” theme for the first set and “Hell” for the second set. The band included a number of covers debuted at past Halloween run shows including ZZ Top’s “Waiting For The Bus,” War’s “Slippin’ Into Darkness,” Neil Young’s “Vampire Blues,” The Ramones’ “Beat On The Brat” and “I Wanna Be Sedated,” Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” and “Soul Kitchen” by The Doors.
