Leftover Salmon kicked off a three-night stand at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael on April 7 with a special Ramble featuring a collaboration with Phil Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band. Leftover Salmon began the evening with a set of their own, before members of the slamgrass group joined Terrapin proprietor and Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band for takes on such songs as “Friend of the Devil,” “Midnight Moonlight” and “Candyman” for the second set. The evening’s encore saw both bands collaborate on a cover of Little Feat’s “Willin'” sung by Craig MacArthur.
