Late night on Friday night, many of New Orleans guitarist Eric Lindell’s musical friends came together at The Hall at MP in Brooklyn to help raise funds for the musician’s family. The Lindells are dealing with a parent’s worst nightmare as their new son Kay Chevalier Lindell, who was born on March 2, is fighting congenital hernia and duodenal atresia, which causes increased levels of amniotic fluid during pregnancy and intestinal obstruction in newborn babies. The baby’s situation also caused compilations for Eric’s wife Sarah.

CEG Presents and Jesse Guglielmo organized the benefit which featured performances from Arne Wendt, Chris Fitzgerald, Dave Dreiwitz, Davell Crawford, Diego Voglino, Elise Testone, Karina Rykman, Marco Benevento, members of Bonerama, the Scott Sharrard Band, Seth Walker and many others. Nearly $6,000 was raised at the event. You can show Eric, Sarah & Baby K. some love by donating to a GoFundMe campaign.
