Melvin Seals & JGB With John Kadlecik & Gloria Jones :: 2.20.16 :: The Warfield :: San Francisco, CA

On Saturday night welcomed a number of very special guests during their performance at The Warfield in San Francisco. Former Furthur/Dark Star Orchestra guitarist John Kadlecik sat-in, as did vocalist Gloria Jones who was a longtime member of the Jerry Garcia Band, first joining the Grateful Dead guitarist’s group in 1983. Saturday’s show, which was opened by the David Nelson Band, featured Melvin Seals & JGB and their guests (including Barry Sless on pedal steel guitar at times) performing such Garcia Band staples as “I’ll Take A Melody,” “Don’t Let Go,” “Midnight Moonlight” and several others.
