Aaron “Gene Ween” Freeman played his first of two “Gene Ween Does Billy Joel” shows at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on Thursday night. The Ween co-founder and his six-piece band reeled off one of The Piano Man’s hits after another including “Angry Young Man,” “Pressure,” “Big Shot” and “Scenes From An Italian Restaurant” over the course of a lengthy set and multiple encores in Williamsburg.
