Photos & Videos: Chris Robinson Brotherhood Welcomes Wolf & Sless At Fillmore

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood ended a lengthy Fall Tour with two nights at The Fillmore in San Francisco on Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday, guitarist Neal Casal utilized Jerry Garcia’s famed Wolf guitar during the second set from “100 Days of Rain” through “Rosalee.” Wolf was Garcia’s primary guitar for a large swath of the ’70s. Casal, who spoke with us about his love of the Grateful Dead, and his Circles Around The Sun project composed music played at setbreak of this past summer’s Fare Thee Well – Celebrating 50 Years Of Grateful Dead performances. The CRB ended Saturday’s show and the tour by welcoming multi-instrumentalist Barry Sless for a triple dose of New Riders Of The Purple Sage covers as the evening’s encore. “Whatcha Gonna Do” and “Last Lonely Eagle” were CRB debuts, while “Lonesome L.A. Cowboy” was premiered a few nights earlier.
