The intimate confines of The Mint in Los Angeles last Thursday night hosted one of several stops on a current run of shows featuring Turkuaz and The Nth Power. The evening began with a set by the soul rockers The Nth Power who were joined by Turkuaz vocalist Shira Elias during their opening set. Touring in support of their recently issued album ‘Digitonium,’ Brooklyn-based nine-piece funk revivalists Turkuaz closed out the night with a set led by frontman Dave Brandwein, Elias and fellow vocalist Sammi Garett. The two groups pair up again tonight for a show at Slim’s in San Francisco. Photgrapher Robert Chapman was on hand to capture Thursday’s show in L.A., view his gallery below:
