The Decemberists & Lucius :: 5.1.15 :: Greek Theatre :: Berkeley, CA
The Decemberists spent May Day in Berkeley at the Greek Theatre performing a heavy dose of songs off their new album What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World. The album, which was released earlier this year, was produced by Tucker Martine who has worked with My Morning Jacket, Modest Mouse, Neko Case and Spoon. Friday night’s set also featured a series of fan favorites from the 2009 rock opera The Hazards of Love. The Decemberists have a number of festival appearances scheduled for the coming months including Sasquatch!, Governor’s Ball, Newport Folk and Austin City Limits.
