Dead Feat :: 4.23 + 24.16 :: The Howlin’ Wolf :: New Orleans, LA
This past Saturday and Sunday nights New Orleans venue The Howlin’ Wolf continued what has turned into a Jazz Fest tradition by hosting a pair of Dead Feat performances. As in past years, this year’s Dead Feat shows saw an all-star lineup perform songs from the catalogs of the Grateful Dead, Little Feat, Anders Osborne and beyond. The band for Dead Feat ’16 featured Anders Osborne, Paul Barrere & Fred Tackett of Little Feat, Jackie Greene, John Gros, Brady Blade, Eric McFadden, Wally Ingram and Carl Dufrene. Each night had special guests as Jimmy Vivino and Anne Harris were among those who sat-in on Saturday, while moe. guitarist Al Schnier contributed to the fun on Sunday from “I Know You Rider” through the end of the show.
